Veterinarian Biographies

Dr. Kerry Beeder - Retired

Dr. Beeder graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree followed by a veterinary doctorate degree in 1983. His extensive experience has come from the last 30+ years of clinical practice in medicine and surgery. He has been on the Advisory Board of the Veterinary Technician Program at Pierce College since 2007. Dr. Beeder has been with Mercy Crusade Spay, Neuter and Wellness Clinic since 2008 and has performed more that 7,000 spay and neuter surgeries. Dr. Beeder retired from practice in July 2024 to spend time with his grandkids and enjoy some much needed time off. The staff, his clients and patients will greatly miss him


Dr. Rodgers

Dr. Susan Rodgers was born and raised in Oxnard. She earned an AS degree in Veterinary Technology from Pierce College and a BS degree in Wildlife Biology from UC Davis. Prior to attending veterinary school at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Rodgers worked as a RVT (registered veterinary technician) at several local hospitals. In addition to preventive care, she is particularly interested in feline medicine, dentistry and dermatology. Dr. Rodgers also has a background in companion exotic animal medicine and wildlife rehabilitation. Outside of work she enjoys yoga, hiking, baking pies, quilting, reading and taking care of her menagerie.


Dr. Brittany Lampman Hall

Dr. Hall was born and raised in Ventura County. She received her BA in biology at CSU Channel Islands while working full time at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant. She then traveled to Europe for several weeks before attending veterinary school, where she met her (now) husband, who is originally from New Zealand. Dr. Hall graduated from UC Davis, CA with her doctorate of veterinary medicine and spent her first few years working general practice in Orange County, CA. She has a passion for preventative medicine (including spay and neuter) and wellness in her patients, but has a fondness of Dermatology as well. She and her husband have 2 young kids, 2 handsome dogs and the most loveable cat. Dr. Hall enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, doing art projects with her kids, going to the beach and catching up with friends.


Dr. Diahanna Wray

Dr. Diahanna Wray is a Southern California native who attended Cal Poly SLO and graduated in 1999 with a degree in animal science. Dr. Wray then attended Kansas State University in Mahattan Kansas and graduated with a Doctorate in Veterinary medicine in 2004. She has been practicing as a small animal veterinarian in Southern California for the past 20 years and joined Mercy Crusade in July 2024. Dr. Wray currently has five cats, two dogs and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. When not in doctor mode, Dr Wray enjoys several hobbies including crochet, beading and reading.
